Pictou County Minor Hockey Association would like to notify all parents and players that the Rep Division of PCMHA is the only division which will be offering checking hockey in Pictou County for the 2014/15 season.
Any player who is interested in playing checking hockey at the Bantam or Midget level this season will have to register with the Rep Division of PCMHA. There will be no other checking hockey in the Pictou County Minor Hockey System.
If you have previously registered with a town division to play checking hockey, you will now have to register with the rep division of PCMHA in order to play checking hockey. A special registration will be held on Friday, September 27, from 6-7pm in the lobby of the Wellness Centre. The tryout cost for all new registrants will be $50.00.
The Rep division offers multiple teams at both the Bantam and Midget level to accommodate those interested in checking hockey. The first tryout sessions for Bantam A will be Friday, September 27th at 7:30 pm at the Wellness Centre. The Midget tryouts sessions will be posted on the PCMHA web page and will begin the week of September 29th.
